Rare snacks. Found.

About YumRare

YumRare is the rare-snack store: the snacks your grocery store doesn’t carry, found and gathered in one small, honest shop.

The promise

We find it. Sellers ship it. YumRare holds no inventory. When you order, we route your purchase to a vetted source seller who ships it to you — and we stay responsible for your experience the whole way. Every rarity claim on this site is a fact with its reason attached: sold only in that country, made for that market, back for this run. If we can’t verify it, we don’t badge it.

Authenticity

Every item on these shelves is a genuine product made by the maker named on its page — the real thing, currently sold somewhere in the world, never a knockoff or a replica. Before a find earns a page, we verify that it is still made, still sold, and made by the company it claims. Each item’s page lists its maker, brand, parent corporation, and origin, so you can check every claim for yourself. If a product ever stops checking out, it comes off the shelf.

How it works

1You find it here.
Three aisles — soda, chips, candy — capped at 100 items so curation stays the product.
2Your card is authorized.
Capture happens only when a source confirms your item is secured. No confirmation, no charge.
3The seller ships it.
Tracking is relayed to you when the supplier provides it, and we answer order email within one business day.

Ownership & disclosures

YumRare is an independently owned and operated store, and the seller of record for its own checkout: buys through YumRare checkout are purchases from us, at YumRare’s prices through PayPal, sourced per order from our partners. Some finds also link to eBay and the seller’s own store — we may earn a commission on eBay buys at no extra cost to you; seller links are plain referrals that earn us nothing. Either way, the find is the same. Commissions never buy a rarity badge, a shelf slot, or a kinder word — items earn their place by being genuinely hard to find.

Contact

Questions about an order, a business inquiry, or a snack you think belongs on these shelves? The Contact Us page carries the store’s form — messages go straight to the store’s inbox and are answered within one business day.

Questions, answered

How long will my order take to arrive?

It depends on the source. Every item states its expected shipping window — including longer windows for international sources — before you pay, and YumRare launches serving US customers. Orders route to the source within one business day, and supplier tracking is relayed to you whenever it exists.

What happens if a seller can’t fulfill my order?

Your refund is automatic. Your card is authorized at checkout and captured only when a source confirms your item is secured, so if a source falls through — sold out, or unable to ship — the authorization is voided or your payment refunded in full. We never substitute a different item silently.

Can I return a snack I changed my mind about?

Food is final-sale, except when an item arrives damaged or is simply the wrong item — then we make it right. When a return is appropriate, it ships to the source supplier under its policy; YumRare coordinates the return and issues your refund on the supplier’s confirmation.

How does YumRare’s own checkout work?

Add finds to the cart and check out through PayPal: checking out here is a purchase from YumRare, sourced per order from our partners. You finish on PayPal’s secure page, where your payment is authorized — not charged. YumRare captures it only when a source confirms your item is secured; if sourcing falls through, the authorization is released and you were never charged. Some finds also link to eBay and the seller’s own store — we may earn a commission on eBay buys at no extra cost to you; seller links are plain referrals. Either way, the find is the same.

Suggest a snack

Know a snack that is still made somewhere but never reaches your grocery store? That is exactly what this shelf hunts. Send it through the Contact page — pick “Suggest a snack,” tell us what it is and where it is sold, and it goes into the verification queue. If it checks out as current, genuinely hard to find here, and made by a major snack corporation, it can earn a slot in the next rotation.
