Shipping
YumRare is supplier-routed: the source seller ships your item directly to you — orders ship from our sourcing partners, never from a YumRare warehouse. Shipping on an order you place here is a flat $3.95, and free when your order reaches $50; the full total is shown in your cart before you pay, never padded in silence after. Expected shipping windows, including longer windows for international sources, are stated on the item and at checkout before payment. Some items carry heat and shelf-life notes (chocolate in summer, carbonation in glass); when a source can’t ship an item safely, we won’t list it. Orders route to the source within one business day, and supplier tracking is relayed to you whenever it exists. At launch, YumRare serves US customers; sources may be international.
Returns & Refunds
Food is final-sale except when an item arrives damaged or is simply the wrong item — then we make it right. If a source fails after you order (sold out, price changed beyond its band, can’t ship), your authorization is voided or your payment refunded in full, automatically. We never substitute a different item silently — ever. Physical returns, when a return is appropriate, ship to the source supplier under its policy; YumRare coordinates the return and issues your refund on the supplier’s confirmation. Your card is authorized at checkout and captured only when the source confirms your item is secured, so a failed source never leaves you charged for a ghost. To ask about an order or start a return, use the contact form — every return is handled there.
Privacy
We collect only what an order needs: the details our payment processors require to take payment, and the shipping details a source needs to deliver. If you join the Rare Finds list, your email is used for rare-finds alerts and nothing else — never sold, never rented. We do not sell personal data in any form. Demand reporting, if it ever exists, is aggregate and anonymized only. Questions about your data go through the Contact page and are answered within one business day.
Terms
YumRare is the seller of record for routed orders: we take your payment and own refunds, customer service, and the promises on this page. Every item on the shelf is a current product — still made and sold somewhere — and is listed with the market it comes from. Brand and product names are used nominatively — to identify the genuine item — and belong to their makers. Prices on routed items are set by YumRare and stated before payment; marketplace prices are set by their sellers. Checkout on YumRare completes on PayPal’s secure page: you authorize the payment there, and YumRare captures it only when a source confirms your item is secured — if sourcing fails, the authorization is released and you are never charged. Allergen and ingredient information always comes from the manufacturer’s own listing. These policies may be updated; the version on this page at the time of your order is the one that applies to it. YumRare is a store: buys through YumRare checkout are purchases from us, run through PayPal and sourced per order from our partners. Some finds also link to eBay and the seller’s own store — we may earn a commission on eBay buys at no extra cost to you; seller links are plain referrals that earn us nothing. Either way, the find is the same.
